Finding Grace #557

You may have seen the acronym GRACE as God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. Grace is also God’s unmerited favor, or God doing for us what we cannot.

I find grace overflowing with God’s love, joy, peace, blessings, mercy, power, provision, protection, and wisdom. Thank You, Jesus!

Where did I find God’s love and favor—His abundant grace—this week?!

This week was busy and full but also very good! We had several evening activities so had to rework things at home a bit. The dishes and mail piled up a little but it’s all good now.

I had my monthly book club on Tuesday so had to work on my blog on Monday night instead. We had a great time discussing our book. It is fun to meet with a group of ladies who enjoy reading. We all bring a little of our own uniqueness; we all have our own opinions and preferences, and I love hearing everyone’s perspectives!

My work load was a tad lighter this week, so I was able to get a bit done on my to-do list. It felt good to have a little wiggle room because several of my coworkers were out of the office for various reasons (planned and unplanned). I am grateful to be part of a team who supports each other!

On Thursday and Friday, Lydia had her State Congress tournament at the state capitol in Bismarck. She worked really hard to prepare and did well the first day. She had a lot of fun overall, though the second day, her POTS made her feel poorly, so she did not compete. I told her I could drive the three hours to pick her up (and three hours back), but she said she wanted to stay and cheer on her team. I am so proud of her diligence and maturity! It was a great experience, and I hope she can participate next year.

Today, we went shopping for some resale clothing and groceries, plus scouted out laptops. I might need to upgrade soon but I wanted to see what was available at each price point. Otherwise, we’ve done our usual Saturday things and relaxed!

These are only a few examples, but God’s grace never runs out!

There’s grace in every situation—we just need to look for it. God promises if we seek Him, we will find Him (see Jeremiah 29:13)!
