Finding Grace #556

You may have seen the acronym GRACE as God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. Grace is also God’s unmerited favor, or God doing for us what we cannot.

I find grace overflowing with God’s love, joy, peace, blessings, mercy, power, provision, protection, and wisdom. Thank You, Jesus!

Where did I find God’s love and favor—His abundant grace—this week?!

This week was fun but still fairly productive!

I had a routine dermatology appointment for my psoriasis in Detroit Lakes, MN, about an hour away. I learned a couple new things! I also had a little time to check out some quaint shops downtown since the clinic was so close. Then, I headed back to work for a short afternoon of seeing patients!

My patients were great this week, and we also had some fun holiday events. My coworkers like to dress up for Halloween, so this week, we wore t-shirts with herbs and spices on them, similar to the McCormick brand. It was a fun dietitian spin on things!

Today, we worked on projects and homework. Lydia is preparing to go to her State Congress tournament this next week, so she had a lot to do before going to a friend’s to pass out Halloween candy. I stayed home tonight and passed out some drinks instead of candy. It was a little drizzly, so I only had around fifty kids!

This weekend, we Fall Back to Standard Time, so don’t forget to roll back you clocks one hour before you go to bed!

These are only a few examples, but God’s grace never runs out!

There’s grace in every situation—we just need to look for it. God promises if we seek Him, we will find Him (see Jeremiah 29:13)!
